Flexible Itineraries Tailored for you!

Our ability to produce quick but detailed quotations and itineraries for individual customers is we believe the thing that makes Great Trips a great company. Unlike many UK Tour Operators, we do not work on volume sales and packing out coaches. We believe that each tour is special and should reflect the desires and dreams of each and every person who takes a Great British or Irish Tour. What this means in practise is that we offer flexibility that others are not able to offer. Our customers (or agents on their behalf) approach us with a list of places they would like to see and things they would like to do. Many have dreamed of walking around Stonehenge while others want to take Harry Potters 'Hogwarts Express' - travelling on the Jacobite steam railway through the stunning Scottish Highlands. Some customers wish to stay in a romantic 13th Century castle while others want to stand on the very spot the world witnessed Prince William and Kate Middleton marry in West Minster Abbey. And some customers, well they simply want to see it all!

Our team of experts take into account every detail (however obscure!) and create a perfect itinerary at the budget level requested. Our local knowledge and vast contact base enable us to quickly produce a free itinerary without the tailor made high end prices that you might expect from such a specialised service.

Our flexibility also allows us to create the most ideal way to see the country. As all our tours are tailored for the traveller, this means our tours can easily combine styles, modes of transport and comfort levels. For example;

A couple on a budget may wish to have a general tour of the UK that includes some major cities, a quick visit of the Cotswolds, a few days in the Welsh Snowdonia mountains and a romantic night to celebrate an anniversary during the tour. We could plan a tour that included walking around cities with rail travel between them. The Cotswolds could be visited on a guided mini-coach day trip from London and the couple could hire a car for a few days to get around Snowdonia. Their stay could comprise of comfortable 3* hotels and B&B's with a night in a 5* spa hotel by a Scottish loch for their anniversary.
